Honorary Positions

Since its conception in 1880 the Amateur Boxing Association (ABA), and its successor, the Amateur Boxing Association of England (ABAE) the sport has relied upon the goodwill, support and dedication of many tens of thousands of volunteers.  In recognition of these efforts 'Honorary Positions' have been awarded over the years including:

  • Life President (1932 - 1941)
  • Chairman (19xx - 1993)
  • Chief Clerk to the Council (1931 - 1963)
