National Junior Championships
The first junior ABA National Championships took place in 1935 held at 'Alexandra Place (London). Titles were awarded across (15) ages and weights deemed as 'Class A' and 'Class B'.
Many senior champions began their careers as Junior ABA Champions before going onto Senior ABA titles, Commonwealth Games, European Championships, World Games and Olympics.
In 2004 / 2005 season the 'Junior ABA' age range was extended to cover 15 years olds for the first time. The age group could no longer enter the 'schoolboy' now renamed the 'Golden Gloves'.
